Junior News
We will be running a
coach in the summer to the British open at royal Birkdale on Friday July
18th.
Approx cost of
the coach is £12 each - younger juniors will need to be accompanied by
an adult as you will be free to roam around the course during the day -
although we will arrange to meet up once or twice during the day.
You will note
from the date that this may be the final school day of the year for some
of you so your parents would need to arrange with the school a day
off maybe?
I realise
this not ideal but we are stuck with when the tournament is and you see a
great deal more on the Friday than the weekend as there are far more
players.
Costs
to get into the course are free for under 16's accompanied by an adult, £25
for 16-18 year olds and £55 for adults.
If you have any questions please contact me in advance but we will start
taking numbers, money for the coach etc from now on. Numbers will be limited.
You can pay on the day to enter the course.

Second
item of news is that we have a signed cricket bat which has been donated
to the juniors to raffle off.
We
will be selling tickets at £1 each
Any
of you juniors attending Baildon cricket club may be able to sell some
tickets for us?
All the proceeds will go into the juniors fund for coaching etc.

The junior
section require some help with there team matches next year for the 2008
league and team championship. Generally Sundays
